WIP - Pantone Emerald Challenge

Another day another challenge

For me GREEN is definitely a challenge.

In going through my stash, I had very little on the Emerald side

I pulled fabrics, I wasn't going to buy anything new for this as I already had the Kona Emerald.

And settled on these Oakshott cottons, Kona neutrals Bone, Snow, Ivory, a few Kaffe Fassett shot cottons and print.  I also am using Kona Emerald (which isn't really Emerald, but whatever), Kona Hibiscus (the purple solid), and a linen.

I made a sketch of what I was thinking of doing, and am sort of following along those lines.  At least I had a slight plan!

Here is where I stopped, and I'm not sure where I am going after this,  pondering, pondering.

Not sure I will be using the small squares, I was just playing.  The very darkest color is a dark green Oakshott, it looks luscious in real life.

Linking up with Freshly Pieced for WIP Wednesday

Keep Calm and Quilt On!

I'm not sure I will get a chance to make my Challenge but hope so. I love the mix of fabric you used.

That's a nice combination of fabrics. I'll be interested to see how your project turns out.
